this weekend! are you getting stoked? the usa takes on spain in spain this weekend on the red clay. it could be a bit tough for andy and sam q. to take on the matador of spin. however, we'll see how it all plays out. james b. won't be playing this weekend citing exhaustion. he pulled out of the tie late last week.

right now i am laying on my couch watching the last night match of the 2008 us open. andy roddick is playing novak djokovic. novak is up 6-2, 2-1 in the second set. it's also the last night of us open coverage on usa because after 25 years on usa, the usta has inked a deal with both espn and the tennis channel to show all the matches next year. so, as i sit here in a house that is all packed up for me to move, i am watching the end of a television era.
